Important Info for all Inquiries and Orders
1) Personal Info: Name, phone # and/or email address now, shipping address (eventually)
2) Date you need or want the item by: If you need something in a hurry, just let us know.
3) Item name: For custom items, find one or several that are similar, just to get the design ball rolling.
4) Size and width for rings and bracelets: We can't begin your order or design without your size. The best way to determine your size is to visit one of your local jewelers. You may order rings in any band width and here is a pdf link explaining visually how to choose a width. The pdf format preserves the correct dimensions if you make sure it's set to 100%. There is also a photo just above showing 2 rings in different widths on human hands. And, Sandy likes to advise folks who are wavering between 2 sizes, especially in 1/4 size increments, that you'd be better off choosing the larger of the two - heat and swelling and work ...
5) Metal: (or combination, or inquire about several for pricing ) 14kt Yellow, White or Red Gold; 18kt Yellow, White or Red Gold; Sterling Silver; Platinum
6) Additional elements: Below are a few examples, and you may design something different. Any metal type, any stone. We'll also need to know where you'd like them placed if you're ordering a custom scene.

Payment Methods: Personal Check, Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express), or Paypal.
Credit Cards are processed through Paypal, but you do not need an account with them. We send you a “Payment Request” through Paypal, you click the link and follow the instructions.
Prices: Listed prices for rings apply to all sizes, unless otherwise noted or if significantly different from pictured items. Custom prices explained below.
Shipping: We send all items U.S. Priority Mail (unless you need them more quickly than 2 or 3 days). Prices will vary depending on weight and the value of your piece due to insurance costs, shown below. The standard base price for sterling silver items is $10. We will also purchase a delivery confirmation receipt with a tracking number for your order and signature confirmation ($2.10) when we together deem this necessary.

Sizing Explantions: Do try to visit your local jeweler for accurate sizing. And, Sandy likes to advise folks who are wavering between 2 sizes, especially in 1/4 size increments, that you'd be better off choosing the larger of the two. We've supplied two pdf documents for you to determine ring and bracelet size and ring band width. The pdf format preserves the correct dimensions. There is also a photo at the top of this page showing 2 rings in different widths on human hands.
Resizing Policy: If your ring doesn't fit properly, we'd be glad to resize it for you for no extra charge.
Return Policy: If the quality and/or likeness of your finished piece is significantly different from the image Sandy has sent to you or that you've seen here on our site, we'd be glad to receive the item back and give you a full refund.
Time required for your project: Nearly all of Sandy's work is custom, and the pieces we have on hand are prototypes. Time to finish will vary based on how busy we are at the time and your desires. If you want custom wedding rings, or anything else that you need quickly, just let us know and we'll work with you to get your jewelry done on time.
Custom Pricing Information
We offer many choices that will affect pricing:
Metals:
All of our jewelry can be made in your choice of metals - sterling silver, 14 kt or 18 kt yellow, white or red gold, and platinum. Additionally, several of our ring designs can incorporate various metal combinations.
Accents:
Any of our jewelry can have additional elements - a gold star on a sterling silver ring, and/or a precious or semi-precious stone set into the moon, sun or star.
Custom Design Price:
As an additional cost, this will range from $100 - $300, depending on the complexity of the designs.
For instance, you may like the style of our classic mountains ring ($245.00 for sterling) and want your own mountain design, then the design price will be added to this base price.
Custom Design Information
We will develop a design through email and/or phone conversations using ideas and photos or drawings you have, and together we'll create your own unique piece of jewelry. Very often we create story rings for clients that include many design elements that are meaningful to them.
As you can see in the examples below, Sandy can use your own drawings, or photos - whatever you'd like to see on the finished piece is usually possible. We may have to have several email or phone conversations during the process, as he incorporates your ideas, sends you new drawings, you make new suggestions, etc.
The examples shown below are story ring designs with multiple elements included. They will also give you a good idea of how custom projects evolve.
Sandy uses a 3D drawing program called ArtCam Jewelsmith to render his designs. This powerful program now allows him to draw designs freehand with sculpting tools, as well as using images as a starting point for custom designs with people's favorite mountains, wildlife and the like.
The computer drawings will never do justice to the finished piece. This is evident in the examples below. Also, after casting, Sandy uses additional techniques like hand hammering more detail into the background and design elements, like the mountains or wildlife (Chris's ring, in Example 2 below, is a good example of this).
You may also choose whether to have a black background or not. The examples below show both.
During the design process, Sandy will email photos to you as the project progresses, as well as when the piece is completed.
